Thane mowing case: SIT to probe FIR on senior babu’s son

​The 34 year old son of a senior state bureaucrat was arrested along with his two aides Sunday night for allegedly assaulting his 26-year-old beautician and social media influencer girlfriend early last week outside a Ghodbunder road hotel, deputy commissioner of police, zone V, Amar Singh Jadhav informed. The police have also seized the two vehicles used in the alleged crime. “The accused identified as businessman Ashwajit Gaikwad and his friend Romil Patil and driver Sagar Shedge were booked under sections 323, 279, 338, 504 and 34 and were arrested Sunday night.
