Police rescue kidnapped toddler; arrest two in abduction plot

A two-month-old boy who was kidnapped four days ago was rescued and reunited with his parents after arresting two persons. The crime branch of the Government Railway Police (GRP) nabbed the accused identified as Abbas Shaikh from Shivaji Nagar locality in Govandi on Monday after he had planned to sell it for Rs1.5 lakhs to a couple in Ambernath. The toddler was staying with his parents on the pavement outside the Borivali East railway station when Shaikh kidnapped him while his parents were not around last week on Saturday.
