Shiv Sena (UBT) gets Shivaji Park for Dussehra rally

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has granted permission to the Shiv Sena (UBT) to hold its annual Dussehra rally at Dadar's Shivaji Park, after the party led by CM Eknath Shinde withdrew its application for a rally at the same venue. The Shinde Sena is now expected to hold its own rally at Azad Maidan or Cross Maidan. Last year, the BMC had rejected applications from both factions, but the Bombay High Court allowed the Uddhav faction to hold its rally at Shivaji Park.
