'6 CNI schools can seek Calcutta HC order recall'

The Supreme Court on Thursday asked six schools in the city, governed by the Church of North India, to seek modification of the order issued by the Calcutta high court on August 18 that, among other things, asked institutes to submit income-expenditure details to a two-member expert committee for examination. An apex court division bench of Justice Ashok Bhushan, Justice R Subhash Reddy and Justice M R Shah said that till the HC passed order to the recall or modification petition, the August 18 order “would not be given effect to” and be “kept in abeyance”.
