    Chennai Corpn seeks Rs 53,000cr from World Bank

    To fund a wide variety of infrastructure projects including 10 new pedestrian plazas, mega streets which would be pedestrian-friendly and pothole-free, and an off-street parking project, Greater Chennai Corporation has submitted a proposal requesting Rs 53,000 crore funding from the World Bank.
