Woman, lover attempt suicide after killing hubby

A 29-year-old woman and her paramour, who fled from Kerala after murdering her husband, attempted suicide by consuming pesticide in a room at a lodge in Panvel on Saturday. The woman's 2-year-old daughter, who was with them, died after she was also fed the pesticide. The police suspect that this drastic step was taken when the couple found out that the Kerala police were closing in on them.
