The share of stubble burning in Delhi air is going down, according to the Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting (SAFAR). The impact of stubble burning emission on Delhi’s PM2.5 was 9% on Tuesday, 3% on Wednesday, and will go down even further to 2% on Thursday. This dip comes in spite of the fact that 5,300 counts of farm fires were reported on Tuesday.
