Fearing trolls, netizens stay off social media

As the election results were announced, the war of words among politicians may have ended but the war of words among their supporters on social media continued. As soon as the exit poll results were out, several youngsters and people who had criticised the government decided to deactivate their social media accounts as they were aware that memes, trolls and abuses might be hurled at them.
