The New Delhi Municipal Council plans to install QR codes on 100 different species of trees. Once a visitor scans the QR code, details of a particular tree, including its age and lifespan, botanical name, common name, height, width, texture, colour of its flowers, blooming season, medicinal and other usages of the tree will be reflected on the smartphone.
