Wall at ‘Gate 2.5’ razed to allow road expansion

The 18m boundary wall at airport’s gate 2.5 was razed in the wee hours of Sunday to facilitate a road expansion effort to decongest traffic along the thoroughfares which regularly delays passengers on their way to catch flights. TOI had reported on August 21 that the state public works department was granted a no objection certificate by the airport authorities and a memorandum of agreement was signed between the state and the airport to facilitate the road expansion programme.
